eXp Realty has partnered with Payload to modernize how money moves across its North American business—bringing earnest money deposits, agent billing, commission disbursements, buyer retainers, and lease commissions onto secure digital rails. The result: faster funding, fewer manual reconciliations, and a better experience for agents and clients.


What’s live

eXp integrated Payload directly with its core systems—including the My eXp agent portal and Oracle—and embedded key flows in SkySlope. Using Payload’s pre-built components (agent dashboards, automated billing, smart payment links), eXp launched a scalable solution quickly across the U.S. and Canada.

Workflows now automated

  • Agent billing: Monthly invoices auto-generated with autopay and multiple payment methods to reduce back-office work and improve collections.

  • Earnest money deposits (EMDs): Fully embedded in SkySlope—no paper checks, reduced wire risk.

  • Buyer retainers: Paid in seconds via secure links or QR codes.

  • Title payments: Commission payments requested and processed through closing disclosures for faster, safer disbursements.

  • Lease commissions / first month’s rent: Collected by card or ACH at signing to remove friction for renters and agents.
