Introducing Auto Generated TDG documentation in PAYLOAD – Streamline compliance like never before

By Payload • April 13, 2023

As you are likely familiar, it is essential to have TDG documentation when transporting waste or potentially dangerous materials. This is a legal requirement to ensure that emergency response crews can respond quickly in the event of an accident or spill. Are you finding it challenging to generate and keep track of these paper-based documents, especially when you are on the go?

That’s why we have introduced a new feature that allows you to auto-generate and present TDG documentation within Payload Ticket. Say goodbye to the hassle of creating and managing paper-based documents for transporting waste or hazardous materials.

With just a few clicks, now you can:

  • Create and store necessary documents within the system eliminating paper-based documents and bins.
  • Remove the burden of creation from operators and drivers
  • Have all parties involved in the transportation process having access to the information making communication easier than ever before
  • Ensure everyone is on the same page when it comes to handling dangerous goods and emergency responses are quick and more efficient.

How does it work?

The producer simply selects a TDG checkbox to have the document generated as soon as the driver makes their pick-up.

Once the driver has confirmed pick up of the chemical, their device syncs with our servers, generating the document on our system and downloading the PDF to the driver’s device.

This means that the driver can quickly respond to any roadside stops or emergency situations.

Additionally, the document will be available to the producer, vendor, and receiver as soon as it is generated, making it easy for all parties to access the information they need.

What if spills or an accident happens?

Emergencies can happen at any time especially due to the nature of many rig roads, and that’s why we have created an exclusive login portal for emergency response crews to access the TDG documentation without needing to contact the producer, carrier, or receiver. This means that first responders can get the necessary information they need to respond to spills or accidents safely and efficiently.

The Benefits:

It meets the legal requirements of documentation existing in two places at once, making it easier for you to stay compliant with regulations. At the same time and by digitalizing TDG documentation, removes the burden of creation from operators and drivers eliminating all paper-based documentation and storage bins.

Additionally, it allows a quick response to roadside inspections and emergencies, minimizing downtime and potential liability.
